Dalam sebuah pentas seni sekolah atau yang biasanya disingkat dengan istilah PENSI, yang menjadi trademark dari gelaran acara tersebut ialah ART PERFORMANCE seperti Dance, singing, poem and poetry reading dan satu fakta ,menarik ialah… JARANG yang mau menggambil performance drama. Tahu sendiri bukan kenapa?... selain dituntut menghayati dan mendalami peran yang dibawakan dalam seni peran, dalam pertunjukan ini pemain juga dituntut untuk mengafal baris demi baris serta harus tahu kapan masuk dan memberi waktu bagi pemain lain untuk berperan… bisa dibayangkan bila menjadi pemeran utama atau karakter kunci dalam drama tersebut… menghafal skrip yang begitu banyak juga bukan pekerjaan yang mudah khan?...
So.. kerja keras mereka selama berlatih layak tuk diacungi jempol dan satu hal… kami para guru tidak meminta m ereka. Seingat saya, apa yang kami berikan ialah betapa menyenangkan menghibur orang, betapa asyiknya berperan menjadi seseorang dalam sebuah cerita khayalan anak-anak.. serta betapa asyiknya mengekpresikan apa yang ada dalam mimpi kita dalam sebuah pertunjukan drama… WOW!!!
DAN satu hal… ENGLISH Mini Drama yang berarti… semua pemain mengunakan Bahasa INGRIS!! Bisa terbayang bagaimana perjuangan mereka dalam berlatih?... well… Two Thumbs Up for these lads!
Hanya itu yang bisa kami berikan dan response mereka… SONTAK saja sebuah kata: … WOW.. OK!!!! Let’s do it!!! Cooooool… dan kami pun berusaha memjembatani keinginan mereka dengan membuatkan sebuah naskah yang sesuai dengan karakter mereka serta tiada hentinya
Untuk mini drama kali ini, ada dua versi dengan thema dan juduk tang berbeda tentunya yakni “Pirate Adventure” yang kami download di internet dan kami modifikasi sedikit sesuai dengan karakter dan alur performance.
Pirates’ Adventure yang dimainkan oleh siswa gabungan kelas satu sampai dengan tiga. Ceritanya tentang segerombolan para Bajak Laut yang kali ini tidaklah mewarisi sifat-sifat pendahulunya. Hanya saja mereka ini suka berpetualang mengarungi lautan. Dimana mereka berlabuh didaratan Malaysia dan mendapati satu desa yang membutuhkan bantuan makanan. Sontak saja mereka berukar makanan. Kemudian perjalanan mereka lanjutan ke utara dan mereka menyelamatkan seorang putrid dari negeri jepang yang terseret ombak tsunami dan mereka mengantarkan puteri tersebut ke negarinya…
Berikut merupakan skrip drama sederhana yang bisa dimainkan. Apabila merasa perlu sdikit modifikasi.. why not.. have fun…

Sharkbait Sara: We’ll have adventures.
Hookarm Harry: And laugh in the face of danger!

Patchy McGee: What are our orders, Captain?

Patchy McGee: Where are we now?
Malay #1: you are in a coconut island.
Malay Chiefs: you are in Malaysia. Who are you?
Captain Gold-tooth: We are Pirates from Southern ocean.
Malay Chiefs: what do you want?
Captain Gold-tooth: We need fresh water.
Malay #2: i have fresh water..
Malay #3: we need rice and meat.
Captain Gold-tooth: Do we have enough meat sailor?
All Pirates: Ay.. ay... captain
Captain Gold-tooth And... enough rice?...
All Pirates Ay... ay... captain

The properties:
Pirates costume: Any pirate clothes: old shirt, bandana, round hat, jelly Roger flag, captain coat, swords, hook arm, woodleg
Malaysian costume: round conic hat, villagers clothes, sarong, white shirt, shot. No shoes.
Property: sack of rice and meat, a jug or galloon, box of noodle
